Crista:: Mom

Crista wears motherhood so beautifully.  I love that I got to hang out with mom and baby during his very first week of life.  What a special time to witness the bond between a mother and her child.  And he is just a picture of perfect sweetness.  What a lucky girl!

Baby Gabriella

Crista Acosta and I were fortunate to do some newborn shots for this beautiful family while Gabriella was only 7 days old.  Baby girl Gabriella was as cute as a button. She was such a sleepy little girl; perfect for photos.

And although the focus was on the newborn baby girl, I snuck outside for some fun ones of big brother!

And we were lucky enough to get the whole fam together, laughing, and enjoying this great moment.

Crista, the boys, and the bump

Where to start… Well, meet my llbff: the fabulous Crista Acosta.  (llbff- long lost best friend forever)  I met Crista and the guys last summer.  I met Crista on a board for local newlywed women in Connecticut.  It was kind of hard to avoid someone who shares your name and love for photography.  So we started exchanging emails and really began getting to know each other.  Aside from the obvious connections.. I was so elated when I actually met Crista and found out we have an insane amount of things in common.  From the very first minute I walked into her door, I knew we were going to be great friends.  And after that very first night we hung out, I knew we were going to be friends for life.  It is not often that you find someone you connect so effortlessly with.  We decided we are definitely llbff’s.

And now Crista is pregnant with her second little one.  She simply glows.  Especially when she is around the loves of her life!

Holiday Photos!

I think photos are some of the best gifts to give during the holidays.  I mean, what parent would love receiving nice big prints of their beautiful children?  It is a gift that keeps on giving the whole year. 

Family Photos :: West Haven Beach

It was a blustery day when we shot Lauren’s family on Milford Beach.   But, wow, what a gorgeous sky we had to work with.  It kind of balanced it out!  We did a big family shot for the grandparents as  a birthday gift….(which I have saved for the family to see in the full gallery).  Genetics were good to this family, let me tell you!

Following the family shots, we took a walk down the beach for a few additional smaller family shots.

Big “awww” for this cutie!

Just look at her!   I got to see Aubrey in the cute-est outfits.  From tu-tu’s to gorgeous Christmas outfits.. she was the star in them all.

The Sones’!

Last weekend I had the honor of shooting family portraits for the Sones family.  I’m sure your recognize the name Tania Sones from my blog entries referencing the many weddings that I have second shot for her. Tania is the absolute epitome of a kind-hearted person and a really talented photographer.  I have been so blessed to have met her and learned from her!!

I loved meeting and hanging out with the rest of the Sones crew.  Or should I say.. “the boys!”

Max and Saywer :: Boothe Park

I love this family.  Just love them.  I’m sure by now, you recognize these two adorable faces.  I have been watching Max and Sawyer grow so much over this past year… and will continue to keep you posted on them for years to come!  For this session, we decided on Boothe Park in Stratford.  What a gorgeous park!  It was the perfect backdrop for our family shoot.  Kristina’s one request was that they get a family shot which they could hang up in their living room.  I think we may have taken care of that!!
