Kara & Frank :: Muzzy Field Engagement

Filed under: Christa Bosco Photography, Engagement — christabosco @ 12:10 am

New favorite engagement session spot:  Muzzy Field, Bristol, Connecticut.  I am in love with this couple and this location.  I loved that there were so many great nooks and crannies.. and I loved that it holds so much meaning for Kara and Frank.

Wendi and I loved working with them because of their vibrancy and innate ability to lock themselves together so naturally for the camera.  You can just see for yourself how amazing their body language is.

Yard work

Filed under: Christa Bosco Photography, Personal — christabosco @ 12:01 am

It is our first spring with our new house.  Unfortunately, we moved in this past December and were passed the point of doing any yard work.  Which means that this spring- we are going to need to do some serious make-up work!  Joe bought us a nice rake which he put to good use in the backyard… Unfortunately, the wind started whipping around as he was trying to clean up his previously neat little piles of leaves.

Poor guy!

Thought bubble-  “This isn’t working.”

Scout’s thought bubble:  “Where’s all the sheep at?”

And you ask, why am I an observer and not a participant?  Well that is because I am nursing a nasty case of the rhino virus.  bleh.

Wendi, as many of you know, is my official Dolce Photography pat-na in crime.  She takes on various roles in the company:  creative consultant, poser extraordinaire, second shooter, my photography “other half,” official crier at father-daughter-speeches/dances, and my bff… just to name a few!

So blog world… Wendi.  Stop by her blog, say hello, and leave some love. :)

Crista, the boys, and the bump

Filed under: Christa Bosco Photography, Families, Maternity — christabosco @ 12:27 am

Where to start… Well, meet my llbff: the fabulous Crista Acosta.  (llbff- long lost best friend forever)  I met Crista and the guys last summer.  I met Crista on a board for local newlywed women in Connecticut.  It was kind of hard to avoid someone who shares your name and love for photography.  So we started exchanging emails and really began getting to know each other.  Aside from the obvious connections.. I was so elated when I actually met Crista and found out we have an insane amount of things in common.  From the very first minute I walked into her door, I knew we were going to be great friends.  And after that very first night we hung out, I knew we were going to be friends for life.  It is not often that you find someone you connect so effortlessly with.  We decided we are definitely llbff’s.

And now Crista is pregnant with her second little one.  She simply glows.  Especially when she is around the loves of her life!

Aren’t they a wonderfully cute family??

And I had to include this one taken by Wendi of me loving the baby bump!

Kelly & Mike :: Mathies Engagement

Filed under: Christa Bosco Photography, Engagement — christabosco @ 10:03 am

Wendi and I are so excited to be working with Kelly and Mike.  Not only are they just two great people.. (which always helps!!), but they happen to be having their wedding at Lily Lake Inn which is where both Wendi and I had our weddings!  I think we might even be able to take some credit in suggesting it to them when we had our first meeting.  ;)   Either way, can’t wait for this wedding.  Don’t blink Kelly and Mike, it will be here any minute… :)

Erin & Andy :: Boothe Park Engagement

Filed under: Christa Bosco Photography, Engagement — christabosco @ 10:05 am

Wendi and I met with Erin and Andy at Boothe Park in Stratford, Connecticut to shoot their engagment session.  Because the both live in New Jersey, we were all meeting for the first time for this shoot.  You would think we were old friends.  I love a couple that you can absolutely click with.  It really makes for a great time and shows in the photos.  They were up for anything and were just what I would label a fun couple.

So here is a sneak preview of our kick-butt session.

Wendi and I are always looking for awesome new poses for our couples.  This one was actually a pose from the willow tree people figurines.  It was my favorite hands-down of the session.  Love it!!!
