I had a great time as Kristen’s personal stalker on her grad day! I even snuck into the VIP “grad’s only” section to ensure that I “get the shot!” lol. I didn’t realize this until some guy, on the other side of the fence, asked me if I could get him in. I said “What do you mean, just go through the entrance!” When he said, “But I don’t have a pass,” I looked over at the entrance and sure enough, there were a couple of guards checking people’s passes! Needless to say, I couldn’t get the guy in and I tried to “lay low.” When the other photographers (the real hired photographers) came up and asked who I was working for.. I just told them “Don’t worry, I won’t get in your way!”
It worked! You know what the key was boys and girls? Confidence. In one of my many photography books, it talked about being confident and owning the situation. (It was actually giving tips on getting backstage at concerts and high profile events, but I thought I would try it out low key first before I try to sneak into the MTV Movie Awards or something.)
My favorites were the candid expressions that Kristen had as she took in her day.

But she was definitely up for some posed shots too!!

It was pretty funny too! I had a bunch of random people posing for me bc they thought I was the offical photographer for the event. Instead of explaining to them that I was the offical papparzzi for one of my friends.. I just played along! It was too tempting not to!
So, here’s to Brian! Wherever he might be!
