Hanging out with the little guy
Today I was hanging out with my favorite nephew… Angelo… or, A-lo as I like to call him. As usual, I broke out the camera because I have this crazy compulsion to take his picture. Today I got the obligatory “taking a bath” shot along with a couple others. I think my new favorite Angelo photo is the one of him in the blanket. The look is priceless!
AND…Mommy really liked them.

Unexpected stop…
I took my camera with me today for a ride hoping to get a nice shot of a local bank Wendi and I are doing some photos for. But I felt kind of funny, being that there were so many customers around. I didn’t feel like a photographer but rather a bank robber casing the joint. lol. So, I reluctantly left. On my way home I was observing the lovely sunset. I thought that I might get a few shots of it so I pulled down Cross Street and turned in the cemetery. I know.. weird. But since I was there.. and I had my camera.. I thought I might do a little experimenting.
I was actually really inspired by the beauty of the monuments. There was a beautiful sadness and stillness in this place. It was a stark contrast to the highway just below the site. With the sunset as my dramatic backdrop, I was able to get some beautiful shots.

It’s (going to be) a boy!
Yesterday, Wendi and I had a great opportunity to work with Cindy to capture her and her unborn son. It was such a great experience because Cindy was so willing to experiment and really embrace the beauty of her pregnancy. We had a lot of fun in my makeshift studio!
Here are a couple of my favorite photos from the day…
Love you Cid!
